BQ launches its first phones with dual camera and rear glass

The Aquaris X2 and X2 Pro models of the Spanish manufacturer are presented with infinite screen, wide battery and pure Android

    The Spanish BQ endures the storm, something that is not easy. The push of Huawei, Samsung or Xiaomi in recent months takes its toll. "It was difficult because of how the market is, but we have overcome again." Rodrigo del Prado, deputy general manager of BQ has started the presentation on Tuesday in Madrid of the two most powerful new mobile of the Spanish manufacturer: Aquaris X2 and Aquaris X2 Pro . It is the first time that BQ includes a double camera in its devices, a glass back (Pro version) and a frameless design, achieving the infinite screen effect so desired by all.

The camera remains the key point when deciding on one mobile or another. In this case, BQ takes a step forward by betting on the dual camera - as its direct competitors already do - to achieve the portrait mode (bokeh effect) that Spanish users like so much. The camera consists of Samsung sensors of 12 and 5 megapixels, as well as focal aperture F / 1.8. It is the first time that the company has worked with Artificial Intelligence, which allows the selfi camera to know where people are and also get the bokeh effect.

Regarding the video , it records in 4K resolution and has a Vidhance stabilizer. Likewise, both models will include Google Lens, a service that will allow to distinguish breeds and information about animals just by focusing them or knowing the opinions of a restaurant when taking a photo of its facade.

     The infinite screen is the great ally in these devices. With a size of 5.65 inches, FHD + resolution, 16.5 million colors and brightness of up to 650 nits. This new screen experience in Spanish mobile phones combines the surround sound provided by stereo reproduction with two intelligent amplifiers up to 9V.

Another innovation that BQ brings in its new model Aquaris X2 Pro is the glass rear , giving it a more premium look than its previous bets. The Corning Gorilla Glass "not only is beautiful", but protects the mobile from scratches and blows in front and behind, they said at the press conference.

The autonomy is still worthy of BQ: 3.100 mAh and fast charge (allows to obtain 50% of the battery in half an hour) 30% more efficient than in the previous model. In addition, FM radio, rear fingerprint reader and dual SIM.
