Instagram allows payment in your app

The company allows users to add a credit or debit card for some users

     When all eyes were on WhatsApp, Instagram engineers without making much noise have activated the payment system within the app itself. This has been revealed by several American media that have discovered the activation of this system for some users.

Until now, purchases were already allowed in the social network of photographs with links to the payment platforms of the stores or their websites, but the novelty, which is expected to arrive in the coming months, is a big change.

     As revealed by TechCrunch, Instagram has activated the option to enter payment details in the application, along with a PIN or password to add a new level of security to the tool.

This new functionality only appears for some users within the Instagram configuration, where a new field called "payment configuration" now appears.

Once all the information required by the company is filled in, the option to make payments is given.
